Silver 2026

During our October trip through Yakima Canyon in central Washington, we hurried to capture the light, with heavy clouds in the forecast. At the time, I didn’t know I already had great river light in my aerial shots, so I stood on the riverbank when I glimpsed the silver sunlight. I like to include human elements in my work – this time, four silhouettes, fishing against the afternoon sky and basalt canyon walls.
