Welcome to my SharePoint microsite!
Hi. After more than ten years working with Microsoft SharePoint as a client, consultant and partner, I've set up my site to provide an independent place for my ongoing work in the SharePoint community. (And SQL, and Project Server, etc.)
I'm a Strategic Product Manager for SharePoint at Quest Software, where I help guide the strategic product direction for Quest’s SharePoint solutions. I'm a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and a member of the Microsoft Solutions Advocate and MVTS programs. In 2012, I published the "SharePoint 2010 Consultant's Handbook", following my introductory “SharePoint 2010 Consultant’s Handbook – Managed Metadata Service”, available on Amazon.com.
Before Quest, I was the SharePoint practice lead at KMA, a New England based Microsoft Gold Partner. I attended Fairfield University for my bachelor's degree, and got my MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in Investment Management and Corporate Finance. I've spent a lot of time in financial services -- Santander, GMO, John Hancock and State Street. I live with my wife Hayley, and our children, Devin, Nathaniel and Rachel in Milton, Massachusetts.
My blog moved here in 2011. My original blog (named Microknowledge at the time) is still live on KMA's site. Plus, my blog at Quest can be reached at http://communities.quest.com/community/sharepointforall/experts_blogs?view=blog. Also, thanks to FPWeb.net for their support in helping me launch this site.
I'm lucky to be able to get out and speak in the community at conferences, user groups and online events. Check out the calendar for upcoming events. Hope to see you soon!
